I'd say it's more than likely just the 7th year celebration. It happens every year guys. Prices drop like rocks when everyone's trying to trade their ecto for consumables. Best time to trade minis, etc.

If there really is a bug with pvp maps, then PM the details to a mod on the GW support forums. This post is NOT going to help. If anything, it'll just make this worse with wild speculation. I suggest everyone just lets this thread die, or only post FACTS. If you don't know 100%, please don't start a crazy rumor.

Problem is: this bug and all other fix is not fault by user, its fault from developers. If they have time for skill balance, numerous events, update like WoC etc, they must have time and resources for this.

btw if some manufacturer has serious issues, they will call you and fix THEIR problem for free! U never heard? - Mercedes has noticed a bug on a 10.000 vehicles and they calling all owners to contact the service.

Another one: Nokia has issues all times with their applications, and they constantly upgrading something...guess what, for free, because they care for customers even after ten years.

I suppose you have missed every single update the last year or so then? They tend to have bug fixes out about once a week. But maybe:
1) This is not even a bug and does not exist
2) IF it exits it might be HARD to fix. It is not just something you do by checking the code for 5 minutes.

Your example is not so good:

1) XP became available on 31/12/2001 and will end it's life on 08/04/2014 so he lived 12 years and you can bet there will be teams (not working for Microsoft) that will provide some sort of updates like it happened in Win98 case (so far Microsoft didn't started a law suit against the people that modified Win98 and I doubt they will do it in the future with a product that they don't sell or support at that moment)
2) Microsoft has 2 more OS available Vista and Win7 and they work on Win8 while in this game case we have GW (that is in a not so good state atm) and another game in beta GW2 (to be honest based on how they want to do the beta tests it can take 1 year to get it out of beta)

Why are people still comparing decades old cars to ancient operative systems to this incident? Did you miss the bug fix?

GW is getting as much support as every old/discontinued product gets.

Sure, the fix came after a couple of days. That's pretty quick in my books. You can't expect istant fixes to bugs and design flaws in brand new products, nevermind an old one.

Breaking news: debuging and solution planning takes time.
